Where exactly is the miniature golf course in Arlington?

Golf Center of Arlington sits at 1301 NE Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, TX 76006, on the north side of the city. It is a family-owned golf range that has served Arlington since 1986 and is recognized as one of America's Top 50 golf ranges. The miniature golf course shares the property with the driving range, so when you arrive you will see the covered Toptracer bays and the clubhouse first; mini golf is right there on the same grounds.

The landmarks most visitors know are just south of us. The Arlington Entertainment District, home to AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field, Six Flags Over Texas and Texas Live!, is about two miles away. River Legacy Park and the Texas Rangers Golf Club, a public course where you can play a full 18, are also close by. If you are staying near the stadiums or spending a day at the park, the course is a short drive north.

How do you get there from around Arlington and DFW?

Golf Center of Arlington is in the heart of DFW, which is why it draws families from Dallas, Fort Worth, Irving and Grand Prairie as well as from across Arlington itself. The main routes into the area are I-30 (east-west across the north side of Arlington), SH 360 (north-south along the east side of the city), and I-20 to the south. From any of these, you are headed for NE Green Oaks Blvd on the north side of town.

  1. Coming from Dallas or points east. Take I-30 west toward Arlington. The course is about two miles north of the Entertainment District exits. Our guide for Dallas visitors has the full plan, including how to pair mini golf with a game.
  2. Coming from Fort Worth or points west. Take I-30 east into Arlington and head north toward NE Green Oaks Blvd once you are near the stadiums.
  3. Coming from Grand Prairie, Irving or the airport side. SH 360 runs north-south along Arlington's east edge; head toward the Green Oaks corridor on the north side.
  4. Coming from south Arlington or Mansfield. Come up from I-20 on SH 360 or through the city and continue north past the Entertainment District.
  5. Use turn-by-turn. Our directions page gives you the map link; expect about 20–30 minutes from Dallas depending on traffic, and much less from inside Arlington.
Game-day tip

On Cowboys and Rangers game days, I-30 and the roads around the stadiums back up before kickoff and first pitch. Leave a little early, or plan mini golf for after the game. We are open Monday–Saturday 8 AM–11 PM and Sunday 8 AM–10 PM, so a post-game round is easy.

What are the hours for mini golf in Arlington?

The course is open seven days a week, year-round, day and night. Hours are Monday through Saturday 8 AM–11 PM and Sunday 8 AM–10 PM. Mini golf does not require a reservation; walk up, buy a ticket, and play. If you are visiting on a holiday, call 817-469-9005 first, because holiday hours can differ.

The evening hours matter more than people expect. In an Arlington summer, a 2 PM round of mini golf is a test of endurance. A 7 PM round, after the sun has dropped behind the trees, is a pleasure. Locals know this, which is why the course stays busy well after dinner.

What is the course like once you're there?

Two 18-hole courses on a nature layout

The 36 holes are split into two separate 18-hole courses set into a landscaped nature course with bridges, rock formations and seven waterfalls. The course is currently being remodeled: all holes are open, but the waterfalls are temporarily switched off while the work is completed. Most groups take 60 to 90 minutes to play both courses.

Play one course, break for a drink at the snack bar, then play the other. Or play one, then walk over to the covered Toptracer bays and hit a bucket. A medium bucket of 60 balls is $21, or $15 for members, and no golf experience is required to enjoy the games on the screen.

Outside food is welcome on the property, though coolers and outside beverages are not. The snack bar carries light snacks and drinks, and the bar has more than 50 beers, wine, canned cocktails and non-alcoholic options. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome, which makes this an easy stop on the way home from River Legacy Park.
