Where Is the Nearest TrackMan to Fort Worth?
The nearest supervised TrackMan launch monitor session to Fort Worth is at Golf Center of Arlington, 1301 NE Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, TX 76006, about 20–35 minutes east on I-30 depending on traffic. A professional supervisor runs the session outdoors on the real range, records swing video, and emails you a full web report afterward.

Fort Worth golfers usually ask two questions in a row: "Where is the nearest TrackMan?" and "Is it worth the drive?" The answers are Golf Center of Arlington and yes, especially if you turn it into a Saturday. Here is how the trip works.
How far is Golf Center of Arlington from Fort Worth?
Golf Center of Arlington sits at 1301 NE Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, TX 76006, about two miles north of the Arlington Entertainment District. From most of Fort Worth it is one highway and one turn.
- From downtown, the Cultural District or TCU: I-30 east toward Arlington, then north on SH 360 or Collins Street to NE Green Oaks Blvd. About 20–35 minutes depending on traffic.
- From north Fort Worth, Alliance or Keller: I-35W south to I-30 east, or SH 121 and SH 183 east to SH 360 south, then west on NE Green Oaks Blvd. About 30–45 minutes depending on traffic.
- From southwest Fort Worth, Benbrook or Crowley: I-20 east to SH 360 north, continue past I-30 and exit at NE Green Oaks Blvd. About 30–40 minutes depending on traffic.
Two things affect the drive: weekday rush hour on I-30 eastbound in the morning, and event traffic around AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field on game days. A Saturday morning departure avoids both. Use the Golf Center of Arlington directions page for a live map link.
What happens during the TrackMan session?
TrackMan is a Doppler-radar launch monitor. It measures the club and the ball by the change in frequency of microwaves bouncing off each, and it films your swing at the same time. At Golf Center of Arlington the session is supervised by a professional supervisor and takes place outdoors on the real driving range, not in a simulator room. You watch actual ball flight toward the range's 12 color-coded target greens while the radar records what produced it.
Club data
Club Speed, Attack Angle, Club Path, Face Angle and Dynamic Loft: the five numbers that explain why the ball did what it did.
Ball data
Ball Speed, Smash Factor, Launch Angle, Spin Rate and Carry: the numbers that tell you how far and how straight you really hit it.
Swing video
Recorded alongside the data so you can match a number to the move that caused it.
Web report
Emailed to you at the end of the session with all the data and videos, ready to forward to a coach.
The session price is not published on this page; see current pricing when you book. For a wider look at launch monitor options in the region, read where to get a launch monitor swing analysis in DFW, and see the main TrackMan at Golf Center of Arlington page for the full list of metrics.
How do you turn a TrackMan session into a Fort Worth day trip?
This is the part Fort Worth visitors tend to underestimate. Golf Center of Arlington is not only a launch monitor. It is a public range with 18 covered, heated bays and 28 natural-grass hitting areas, every one with a Toptracer screen, plus two 18-hole outdoor mini golf courses and a bar. A sample Saturday looks like this.
| Time of day | What to do | Why it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Morning | Leave Fort Worth after breakfast; I-30 east is quiet on Saturdays | You arrive rested and warm up before your slot |
| Late morning | Supervised TrackMan session on the range | Best light, fresh swing, data emailed before lunch |
| Midday | A bucket in a covered Toptracer bay: play Pebble Beach or St Andrews in Virtual Golf, or run Closest to the Pin with your group | 30% off bucket prices from 9 AM to 6 PM daily; free short game area with any bucket |
| Afternoon | 36 holes of mini golf on the landscaped nature course | Most groups take about 60–90 minutes for both courses; same-day replays are free |
| Before the drive home | A craft beer or a non-alcoholic drink at the bar, then read your TrackMan report on your phone | 50+ beers, wine and canned cocktails; you leave with the numbers |
The Toptracer games and course list are covered on where you can play Pebble Beach on a simulator in DFW, and the mini golf timing on how long 36 holes of mini golf takes.
Lock in the TrackMan slot first; the range and mini golf need no reservation. See current pricing when you book.

Who from Fort Worth books TrackMan here?
Three groups show up most often, and each uses the day differently.
The weekend golfer chasing distance
You play Saturday rounds around Fort Worth and want to know whether your driver is launching too low or spinning too much. TrackMan gives you Launch Angle, Spin Rate and Carry on the real range, then you spend a bucket testing the fix on Toptracer's Long Drive or Driving Challenge.
The parent with a junior golfer
Your kid is playing junior events and the coach wants numbers. Book the session, let the supervisor run it, and the report lands in your inbox. Then the whole family plays 36 holes of mini golf while the golfer cools down. Golf Center of Arlington teaches juniors ages 5–17 too; see junior golf lessons.
The club buyer
You are about to spend real money on a new driver or iron set. Getting your Club Speed, Smash Factor and Dynamic Loft measured first means a fitter starts from facts, not guesses.

What are the hours, and do you need a reservation?
Golf Center of Arlington is open Monday–Saturday 8 AM–11 PM and Sunday 8 AM–10 PM, seven days a week, year-round, rain or shine. Only the TrackMan session is booked ahead, because a supervisor is assigned to you. The range, the Toptracer bays and the mini golf courses need no reservation and no membership; walk-ins are welcome every day. The last range bucket is sold one hour before closing.
Groups of about eight or more should call ahead so bays can be lined up together, and groups of 15 or more should reserve. Call 817-469-9005 or email play@golfcenterofarlington.com. Well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome, outside food is fine, and coolers and outside beverages are not.
If you want the technical comparison between the Toptracer on the bays and the TrackMan radar, the hub page Shot Tracking and Swing Data: Toptracer and TrackMan Compared lays it out side by side.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a TrackMan closer to Fort Worth than Arlington?
For a supervised TrackMan session on a real outdoor range with an emailed report and swing video, Golf Center of Arlington is the option most Fort Worth golfers use. It is about 20–35 minutes east on I-30 from downtown depending on traffic. Simulator studios closer to home may run launch monitors indoors, but the combination of a supervisor, the real range and the 36-hole mini golf and Toptracer bays on site is what makes this trip worth it.
Can we book TrackMan for two people back to back?
Book separate sessions for each golfer, one after the other, so each of you gets a supervised slot and your own emailed report and swing videos. While one person is on TrackMan the other can warm up with a bucket in a Toptracer bay or play the free short game area. Booking is online through the TrackMan button on this page; see current pricing when you book.
Can I play mini golf and use the range without booking?
Yes. At Golf Center of Arlington only the TrackMan session requires a booking. Range buckets, Toptracer bays and both 18-hole mini golf courses are walk-up, with no reservation and no membership needed. Mini golf is $12 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under, or $8 per person for unlimited play during the current remodel special. Groups of about eight or more should call ahead.
What time should I leave Fort Worth for a morning session?
On a Saturday, leaving about 45 minutes before your booked time is comfortable from central Fort Worth; I-30 east is usually light and you will have a few minutes to loosen up. On weekdays, add a cushion for morning rush hour, and check the AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field schedules, since event traffic in the Entertainment District slows the last two miles.
Does the TrackMan session work in bad weather?
The session runs outdoors on the real range, so it depends on conditions on the day. The range itself is open rain or shine thanks to 18 covered, heated bays, and the mini golf courses and bar are on site, so a Fort Worth visit is rarely a wasted trip. If the forecast looks rough for your booked time, call 817-469-9005 and the staff will advise.
What is the difference between the TrackMan report and the Toptracer app?
The Toptracer app stores ball-flight data from your everyday bucket sessions: carry, distance, ball speed, launch angle and accuracy per club. The TrackMan web report is a one-time, supervised snapshot that adds club data, including Attack Angle, Club Path, Face Angle, Dynamic Loft and Smash Factor, plus swing video. Golfers use the TrackMan report to diagnose and the Toptracer app to track whether the fix is holding.
